My first recognition of beauty and desire to capture it came as a boy living in southern Alberta. Frequent trips to Banff and being surrounded by walls of granite, cascading waterfalls, and wildlife, left an impression as fresh today as the day it happened. I was, and continue to be drawn to raw fresh natural beauty.
Less is more when it comes to photography. Let the freckles show, be comfortable, catch a moment of relaxation and comfort, let the world see who you really are.
There has been a lot of detours along the way from selling cameras as a teenager to a full time professional photographer. The things I accomplished on the way to today, raised a couple families, ran some great sales organizations, make me aware of my clients needs at a different level than a lot of photographers, but my passion is photography, people, products, places, nature, sports, events. I am who I want to be when I am working, absorbed in my projects the world stands still for a while.
My work has appeared in magazines in the US, France, Italy and Northern Europe. I have worked for major modeling agencys from coast to coast, my work is on hundreds of comp cards and model portfolios. I delight in seeing many of the people I have photographed rise to the top of the acting and modeling worlds, and I know its because they are following their passion. I am so thankful they have been part of my life. I have learned so much about determination and focus from my clients.
I am available to work on location where ever I am needed. Contact me for rates for your project,
Jerry

Attitude
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of Attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes."
-Charles Swindoll
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers thru it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you need a helping hand, you will find one on the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover you have two hands, one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.
-Audrey Hepburn
Our deepest fear
Is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful
beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
"Who am I to be Brilliant,
Gorgeous, Talented and Fabulous?"
Who are you not to be?
You are a child of the Universe.
Your playing small
does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened
about shrinking
So that other people won't feel
insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest
The Glory of the Universe
that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;
It is in everyone.
As we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated
from our own fear,
our presence automatically
liberates others.
